Hi, I'm Okere Community Development Project (Okere City)
We are a rural community in Otuke, Northern Uganda working collectively to building Africa’s first sustainable rural city. Our work is greatly inspired by the fictional country of Wakanda and everyday we work towards building a real-life Wakanda, using shea butter, our natural asset and the dreams and dedication of the ordinary people of Okere working together as a community on purpose. We are destination that makes you to have an authentic community experience whilst at same time leaving you in absolute awe and bewilderment about the possibilities and prospects of the rural countryside.
